Overview
You’ll receive one-to-one training with a Civil Aviation Authority licensed instructor and will spend up to 30 minutes in the air (including taxiing and landing). What you learn will depend on your chosen location but all participants receive flying time that counts towards a Private Pilot's licence.

Flying lessons take place all year round and are normally available on any day of the week. Availability varies by venue.
• We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available. This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.
• You should allow 1 hour for your whole experience, but the flight (from taxi to landing) will last approximately 25-30 minutes.

"• To ensure proper weight distribution and safety in the light aircraft, certain weight and height restrictions will apply. These restrictions vary depending on the specific aircraft and flight experience
• Minimum age: 12, 14 at Coventry Airport and Dunkeswell Aerodrome (under 18s need parental/guardian consent)
• Minimum height: 4ft 10in
• Maximum height: 6ft 4in , 6ft 6in at Dunkeswell Aerodrome
• Maximum weight: 12 stone at County Down, 12 to 13 stone at Chester, 14 to 18 stone at other locations
• Participants should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the aircraft
