Overview
After boarding the tour vehicle, we’ll travel to Citrus County and the famous Crystal River, the only place in the world where it’s legal to swim and snorkel with wild manatees. At the dive shop, you’ll receive important information from your professional tour guide along with a safety presentation, ensuring you’re fully prepared for your boat ride.
Your Coast Guard certified captain will then cruise slowly along the river in search of manatees. If you’d like, you can jump in and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters, or simply relax on board and take in the natural beauty around you. Manatees, often called sea cows, are gentle giants. While you cannot approach them in the wild, they are naturally curious and sometimes come close to visitors, even rolling over as if to invite a belly rub. It’s a magical experience you won’t want to miss.
After your time on the river, we’ll return to the dive shop so you can change before heading to lunch. We’ll stop at a local café where you’ll be able to purchase a meal.
In the afternoon, the adventure continues at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Wildlife State Park, one of Florida’s hidden gems. This 210 acre sanctuary is home to some of the state’s most endangered animals, including the Florida panther and black bear. Known as Nature’s Fish Bowl, the park features an underwater viewing chamber where you can see manatees in their spring habitat. Many of these manatees are undergoing rehabilitation before being released back into the wild. The park is dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals that cannot survive on their own, providing both protection and education.
We’ll return to the Orlando area at approximately 5:00 p.m. This tour is a true Florida adventure, a rare opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy experiences unique to this region.

Please Note
Please wear swimsuit under clothes in the morning as it will make things easier upon arrival at the dive shop.
Bring towels and a change of clothes for after the dive time.
$10 wet suit fee covers the cost of cleaning and sanitization between use.
This activity may not be available on some holidays, including Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

We have meeting points throughout the tourism corridors of Orlando, Lake Buena Vista, and Kissimmee including the Disney and Universal areas. Please arrive to your meeting location at least 5 to 10 minutes prior to the departure time. Wait outside the meeting point as the Guides will not go into lobbies or stores to look for guests.
