During this experience, you’ll discover staterooms decked in elaborate festive décor and grand Christmas trees, all set against the backdrop of one of England’s most iconic stately homes.
You’ll soak up the spirit of the season with live music and carols ringing out as you explore centuries of heritage and artistry. From rich tapestries and fine art to glittering garlands and winter gardens, every corner delivers a blend of history and seasonal wonder.
To finalise a wonderful festive day out, you’ll take a stroll through the formal grounds wrapped in winter beauty. Belvoir Castle’s Christmas transformation is a festive escape where elegance and atmosphere take centre stage.
• Due to the historic nature of Belvoir Castle, accessibility is limited to the ground floor only. The upper floors are accessible only via staircases, with no lift access available due to the building's protected status and structural limitations.
• The ground floor includes: The Guard Room, The Entrance Hall, The Old Kitchen, The Aviary Tea Room, The Gift Shop, Accessible toilet facilities
• For visitors unable to access the upper floors, they offer a comprehensive guidebook which can be borrowed free of charge from the Castle Gift Shop. These guides feature high-quality photography, videos, and information about the rooms and collections on the upper floors.
• Parts of the gardens are accessible to wheelchair users and those with limited mobility, though some areas feature steep slopes, steps, and uneven terrain due to the castle's hillside location.
• Accessible areas include: The formal gardens nearest to the castle, The Japanese Garden (via an alternative route), The Rose Garden, The main pathways through the woodland
• They have created a designated accessible route through the gardens, which is marked on the visitor maps available at the ticket office.

This experience is available 14th November to 30th December, excluding some selected dates throughout this period which will be made clear on the Belvoir Castle website.
