Bring your valid passport, which the military officials at the entrance of DMZ will check. Additional information. The DMZ is a military area and hence it can close without prior notice. The boat course may change to an alternative suspension bridge route for safety due to uncontrollable issues like weather, maintenance, or other factors. DMZ is closed on Mondays and military training days.
